If you have a bunch of unworn t-shirts taking up space in your closet, let me turn them into a quilt!

Finished size of t-shirt quilt block is 12″ OR 15″. Graphics larger than 12” or 15″ will be cut off. I use the center most part of the design in this case. Some shirts will yield 2 blocks – they have graphics on both front and back. Using a marker, write on the COLLAR of the shirts if you want the front, back or front/back used in your quilt. If you do not mark your shirts, I will use what I think best to get the size quilt you select.

Please WASH your shirts before sending them in – NO fabric softener or scent beads, etc.

Buttons, brads and zippers cannot be machine quilted. I will remove these elements if I am able. Shirts with thick plackets on the neck (baseball jerseys) cannot be quilted.

The price of your quilt includes ALL materials needed to construct your quilt (stabilizer, cotton fabric for sashing and borders for 12″ blocks, batting, fabric for the quilt back), professional longarm quilting and machine binding. You will receive a completed quilt ready to snuggle! My turn around time is 4 weeks from receipt of your shirts. Waitlist times will vary as I only accept a limited number of monthly commissions.

For the 12″ block quilt: I use solid colors for the sashing, borders, backing and binding (one color); the fabric used is 100% quilting cotton. Let me know what color you would like when sending in your shirts.

Batting is Hobbs 80/20 Cotton/Poly

Quilt sizes are approximated. Typically, quilt tops shrink due to quilting and washing/drying.
